PRINCE2
PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a generic, tailorable, process-based method for effective project management. It covers how to organize, manage and control projects.
PRINCE2 is a de facto standard used extensively by the UK Government and is widely recognised and used in the private sector, both in the UK and internationally.
It is aimed at enabling projects to successfully deliver the right products, on time and within budget. Project Managers can apply the principles of PRINCE2 and the associated training to any type of project. It will provides guidance on how to manage risk, control quality and change effectively, as well as make the most of challenging situations and opportunities that arise within a project.
PRINCE2 formal recognition of responsibilities within a project, together with its focus on what a project is to deliver provides organisation's projects with:
